Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Gymnasts at Regionals!
The Bemidji Aerials were represented by seven gymnasts at the Regional Championships, held in Minneapolis this past weekend. The top Xcel gymnasts from MN, ND, SD, NE, IA, MO, and WI gathered to compete. We are so proud of each and every one of these athletes. They are listed in order of which they competed. GOLD, PLATINUM, AND DIAMOND STATE MEET RESULTS!
State meet update! Diamonds started off the Bemidji Aerials on Friday.
Elliana and Aerie were first!
Elliana Ekre scored a 8.425 on vault, 8.325 on bars, 8.3 on beam, and a 8.45 on the floor. Making her all around score 33.5, qualifying her for regionals.
Aerie Hill scored a 8.85 on vault, 8.6 on bars, 8.225 on beam, and a 8.85 on the floor. Making her all around score 34.525, qualifying her for regionals.
Next up Lauren Bruley and senior Kali Allen.
Lauren Bruley scored a 8.65 on vault, 8.175 on bars, 8.55 on beam, and a 9.0 on the floor. Making her all around score 34.375, qualifying her for regionals.
Kali Allen scored a 8.425 on vault, 8.925 on bars, 9.025 on beam, and a 9.175 on the floor. Making her all around score 35.55, qualifying her for regionals.
On Saturday the golds competed!
Lydia Dauksavage and Natalie Remer competed bright and early!
Lydia Dauksavage scored a 8.375 on vault, 8.2 on bars, 7.46 on beam, and a 8.575 on the floor. Making her all around score 32.6!
Natalie Remer scored a 8.2 on vault, 8.35 on bars, 8.925 on beam, and a 8.325 on the floor. Making her all around score 33.775.
Then it was Mara Stinar’s turn!
Mara Stinar scored a 8.025 on vault, 7.35 on bars, 8.75 on beam, and a 8.4 on the floor. Making her all around score 32.525.
Next up was Aaliyah Welcome, Brooklyn Roff, and Carol Chance!
Aaliyah Welcome scored a 8.675 on vault, 8.95 on bars, 8.6 on beam, and a 9.3 on the floor. Making her all around score 35.525. Qualifying her for regionals.
Brooklyn Roff scratched on vault due to injury, 8.8 on bars, 8.35 on beam, and a 8.65 on the floor. Making her all around score 25.8.
Carol Chance scored a 8.225 on vault, 8.125 on bars, 7.7 on beam, and a 8.925 on the floor. Making her all around score 32.975.
In our last Saturday session Eliana Frank competed!
Eliana Frank scored a 8.525 on vault, 8.675 on bars, 8.975 on beam, and a 9.05 on the floor. Making her all around score 35.225. Qualifying her for Regionals.
Sunday was filled with Platinums!
Kylie Sonneman and Samantha Buxton competed first on Sunday morning!
Kylie Sonneman scored a 8.75 on vault, 8.9 on bars, 9.05 on beam, and a 9.1 on the floor. Making her all around score 35.8. Qualifying her for regionals!
Samantha Buxton scored a 8.45 on vault, 8.6 on bars, 8.175 on beam, and a 7.95 on the floor. Making her all around score 33.175.
Lola Wesley represented the Aerials in our final session!
Lola Wesley scored a 8.325 on vault, 8.3 on bars, 8.2 on beam, and a 8.275 on the floor. Making her all around score 33.1.
We are so proud of all of our gymnasts! If is such a great accomplishment to qualify for state! Congratulations to those who qualified for regionals.
